Leo is a beautiful small/medium sized spoodle – approx. 9-10kg. Due to a change in our circumstances & ill health we need to find Leo a new forever home. Preference will be given to people South Island based, please don’t be offended if we ask lots of questions – we want to make sure that Leo goes to a good, loving home – this is our priority.
Leo is 3 years old desexed, fully vaccinated, toilet trained.& crate trained.
Loves the beach or open spaces to run
Loves chasing a ball – not so much in returning it though!
Loves going to the woods for a good sniff
Loves meeting other dogs at the dog park
On a raw food diet
Loves chicken, peanut butter, homemade oat & salmon treats, not forgetting ice cream and cheese, duck treats, liver & lung bites. Basically anything apart from fruit & veg.
Leo has had little experience with children apart from our 3 year old, full on, granddaughter who he is very accepting of but prefers to minimise contact with. He has never reacted badly towards her just doesn’t really enjoy the full-on attention. Has never been introduced to cats, good with other dogs.
Leo is reactive towards strangers initially but can manage with support and time/space to adjust.
